Kabel Eins live (literally: cable 1) is a German free-to-air television channel that began broadcasting on February 29, 1992, as Der Kabelkanal. ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG owns the company. It is best known for broadcasting classic American films, TV shows, and documentaries. ProSieben considers it to be a sister channel.
Kabel eins has regularly taken over TV series from ProSieben in recent years[when?] when they were not successful enough or had already been broadcast several times. Without a Trace, which was a flop on ProSieben but is a huge hit on kabel eins live, is the best example of this. It also picked up a few shows from RTL II.kabel 1 live stream
